AFGHANS ARE
BACK!
Due to numerous member and public requests, the Society has placed a new order for our popular afghans
depicting various historic sites around Laurens County.

The afghan measures 50" x 65", is 100% cotton and washable. It come in two colors - Hunter Green and
Williamsburg Blue.

Among the sites shown on the afghan are:

DUBLIN-LAURENS MUSEUM
OLD LAURENS COUNTY COURTHOUSE
OLD OCONEE RIVER BRIDGE
BLACKSHEAR'S FERRY
CHAPPELL's MILL
WHITEHALL
FISH TRAP CUT
CHRIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH
GOVERNOR TROUP'S VALDOSTA PLANTATION
THE STEPHENS-THOMAS HOME
SUMPTERVILLE

The border of magnolias with dogwood blooms in the corners carries the theme "THIS IS LAURENS COUNTY"
throughout the makeup of the art work. We feel you can proudly recommend these beautiful afghans to your
friends and make gifts of them to your relatives.

The cost for each afghan is $40, plus $2.80 Georgia sales tax. Proceeds from sales will go towards the Historical
Society's operating expenses. Afghans can be picked up at the Dublin-Laurens Museum during regular museum
hours (Tuesday through Friday, 1 PM - 430 PM).

Please call 478-272-9242 if you have any questions or would like to confirm availability before you come by the
